**sigh**
I made it.
The airports were easy, the plane ride was long but good, and our friends were waiting for us when we arrived! YAY. It took 2 hours by bus to get from the airport to Eumseong, where the school is.
The school is very nice. We are staying about 10 minute walk away from campus, so hopefully we can stay relatively rain free during our walks to and from. Our dorm is called "Lydia." It brings back good memories of living with Natalie! :) I will try to take pictures of the amazing mountains that are all around.
The other teachers are all very friendly and welcoming. We have a fairly laid-back weekend before our students arrive on Monday. I am teaching reading comprehension with a Korean guy named Henry. I think we will work together well. I am FURIOUSLY working on my lesson plans... right. :)
I covet your prayers, as I have been sick since we landed. I have some kind of stomach bug that is pretty much destroying my chances of discovering my love of squid. :) I have however discovered "pocari" which is like a less-salty gatorade. It's very good and it's all I've had. Please pray I will feel 100% soon so I can give a great experience to my students in class.
Much love to everyone that has emailed me to encourage me and fill me in!

This is Paige, one of my American students on the trip, at our first Korean restaurant in Seoul. We liked the slogan "It's my burger more than a burger." oooooooooooooooooooooookkkk..... :)
